Commemorate America 250 and discover the history in your own backyard at the Riversdale Historic Site & Museum!  

M-NCPPC invites you to free Community Days at historic sites and museums throughout Prince George’s County. Explore local stories, meet community partners, and experience the people and places that make our county’s history so unique. 

You can also get your Pastport to History stamped on Community Days! 

Pack a picnic lunch, bring your people, and enjoy free activities designed for all ages! 

FREE activities may include: 

  • Tour the historic mansion 
  • Wander through the gardens  
  • Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month 
  • Meet local community partners 
  • Cook using 19th-century techniques over an open hearth 
  • Create in the art zone
