Project Description
The plan examines opportunities for redevelopment, transportation improvements, and strategic public investments that promote economic development and better connectivity within the plan area. The plan's goals include concentrating neighborhood-serving retail, repurposing under-performing commercial centers, increasing employment opportunities, reducing traffic congestion, improving transportation connectivity, enhancing the streetscape and public spaces.
Project Boundary
The Central Branch Avenue Corridor Revitalization Sector Plan focuses primarily on Camp Springs, Morningside, and Clinton, looking closely at the economic, land use, and transportation relationships these communities share with each other around Joint Base Andrews and along the Branch Avenue corridor.
