For information about getting the COVID-19 vaccine at a Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County facility, please visit the County’s Health Department vaccination website.  For information regarding vaccine distribution in Prince George’s County, please visit:

Prince George’s County-operated COVID-19 clinics offer vaccinations to individuals 12 and older who live or work in Prince George’s County.  Eligible individuals do not need an appointment to get vaccinated. We are providing our locations to support this initiative; you must contact them directly with any questions. Thank you!

Due to concerns over the Delta variant of COVID-19 across the United States, The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) continues to work closely with local public health authorities, emergency management offices and other local governmental agencies to keep patrons and employees informed and updated on the current coronavirus situation. We continue to follow health department protocols to keep you and your family safe.

As you may know, being prepared and taking preventive measures are the keys to keeping you and your family members healthy. Please remember to wear face coverings when required inside our facilities, and practice social distancing. If you are sick, please stay home. Employees should notify their supervisor.

Update as of August 2, 2021:  Face coverings are required for all indoor venues and crowded outdoor venues including concerts, festivals, and ticketed sporting events. Face coverings are no longer required outdoors in the parks.

Effective Thursday, October 28, 2021, face coverings are no longer required inside our facilities. Amenities are open in accordance with Montgomery County’s COVID-19 Orders. M-NCPPC staff are encouraged to talk to their supervisors if they have any questions or concerns.
